Yoruba Tennis Club to host public lecture

The Yoruba Tennis Club is set to host a public lecture to provide a compass for the intellectual direction and upliftment of the society on August 9, 2018, at Onikan, Lagos State.

The lecture, which is titled Current Security Challenges In Nigeria-The Way Out, would feature presentations from a former Director Military Intelligence and Fellow of the War College, Major General (Rtd) Adewunmi Ajibade; Chairman/Founder SPACE FM and Convener Leadership and Peace Initiative Otunba Deji Osibogun; Head of News, Television Continental, Mr. Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, and Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Tunji Alapini, among others.

General Secretary of the club, Mr. Tunde Osunsedo, explained that the Chairman of the occasion is Alhaji Femi Okunnu, while the Special Guest of Honour is His Royal Majesty Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Abdul Kabir Adeyemi Obalenlege, Olota of Ota-Awori Land.

He said, “The Club has had the privilege of playing host to many prominent Nigerians and Non-Nigerians who have made their mark both locally and internationally and their delivered lectures have always been a compass for progressive national development.”

Some of them are Late Chief Anthony Enahoro; Late Prof. Aliu Babatunde Fafunwa, Hon. Justice Adewale Thompson, Late Hon. Justice Dr Akinola Aguda, Chief Anthony Asuquo Ani, Dr. C.P. Ezeife, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, and Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
